I agree. The next bike I buy, like it or not, will have traction control, ABS, power modes, some kind of "intelligent" bullshit, etc. The only thing those things represent to me are future malfunctions and problems. How about skipping that stuff and making the bike more reliable. Give me a chain that lasts twice as long or how about a center stand?
I don't want to ride a bike that thinks for itself. I just replaced my 25 year old Chevy Blazer and now I have an SUV that thinks for itself. Now I hope we don't get into an argument on a long trip.
